Accessible, confidential support—wherever you are in Cyprus or abroad. We offer secure video sessions with therapists trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Some of our clinicians use EFT as their primary approach; all work integratively so the way we work fits you.
How it works
Book a brief introductory call and a suitable time from the comfort of your home. We’ll send a secure video link; sessions are usually 50 minutes. In the first session we clarify what brings you, agree one or two goals, and decide how we’ll work together.
Is online therapy right for me?
Online therapy suits most concerns—anxiety, low mood/depression, grief, OCD features, work or relationship stress, and life transitions. It’s a good option if you prefer the convenience of home, live outside Nicosia, or travel frequently. If you’re in immediate crisis or at risk of harm, please contact emergency services before arranging therapy.
Getting set up
Choose a private space, use headphones if possible, and test your camera and microphone. A laptop or tablet on a stable surface works best. Keep water and a notepad to hand.
Fees & insurance
Fees are the same as in-person sessions. If you’re using insurance, please confirm cover with your provider first and share your authorisation number when booking.
Confidentiality & online safety (a frank note)
We treat online sessions with the same confidentiality as in-person work, but the internet introduces risks we should name. We use reputable, encrypted video platforms configured to meet GDPR requirements; we do not record sessions; and we keep brief, minimal notes in a secure system with access limited to your therapist (and their supervisor where appropriate). Even with these safeguards, no online service is 100% risk-free. Potential risks include unstable connections, platform outages, data breaches, malware on personal devices, pop-up notifications, smart speakers listening, and the use of shared or public Wi-Fi. Legal limits to confidentiality still apply (e.g., risk of harm, safeguarding, or a lawful court order), and we’ll explain these clearly.
What we do to protect you: we use encrypted platforms with waiting rooms/locked meetings and passworded invites; require secure sign-ins; use secure file-sharing; limit data retention; discuss cases in supervision with identifying details removed; never share your data for marketing.
What you can do to reduce risk: choose a private room; use a personal device (not shared with work/family); keep your operating system/antivirus up to date; use strong device and account passwords; wear headphones; switch off smart speakers/voice assistants; silence notifications; avoid public Wi-Fi (use a trusted network or personal hotspot); don’t record sessions; store any documents we send in a secure folder; avoid sending sensitive details by email—use our secure forms/links instead.
Alternatives & emergencies
If online isn’t right for your situation, we can arrange in-person or phone sessions. If you are in immediate crisis or danger, please contact emergency services first; you’re welcome to contact us when it’s safe to do so.
