More men are choosing therapy, but asking for help can still feel tough. We’re experienced in working with male clients and aim to make the process straightforward, respectful, and practical.
What men commonly bring to therapy
Men experience the same difficulties as anyone—low mood/depression, anxiety and stress, grief, anger, relationship or work pressures, trauma, and OCD features. Distress can also show up as overworking, risk-taking, substance use, gambling, compulsive exercise, pornography use, or withdrawing from others.
How we work with men
Our therapists understand the barriers men can face in seeking support. If you prefer to see a male therapist, tell us when you book and we’ll do our best to match you. Sessions are available in person or online, with daytime or evening options. We work collaboratively and at your pace.
What to expect in the first session
We’ll clarify what brings you, agree on clear goals, and decide how we’ll work together. You don’t need to prepare anything—if you’re unsure where to start, the therapist guide you.
